We are not really going to deceive ourselves. We will agree to what we consider to be a reasonable compromise, - one of the leaders of European Georgia, Giga Bokeria, told reporters about a possible third round of talks between the government and the opposition.
"I, as a citizen, and we, the political union - European Georgia in addition to our partners in the democratic opposition, have the task to reach an agreement, yes, in the interests of the country, to be flexible and ready and at the same time to be principled on what we consider necessary to overcome the crisis. We must consider all the points that President Michel has made and we have agreed, there must be a reasonable agreement and progress, including the issue of the release of political prisoners - Melia and Rurua and the end of political repression. Also, substantial changes in the election administration, regulations and rules. The key issue is to come to a normal, early election. If someone thinks that European Georgia will agree to every type of agreement, it is not so. We will agree to what we consider a reasonable compromise to get the country out of the crisis. We are not really going to deceive ourselves", - Bokeria said.
