"The people of Georgia know best the value of independence. In the last century, you declared it twice, first, from the Russian Empire and then from the Soviet Union. Independence is not easy, it requires fight and hard work.

In these difficult times, Georgia faces many challenges. Russia's occupation of Georgia's lands continues. We, friends of Georgia, will never recognize the so-called elections or the so-called referendum to "join" Russia. We stand with you in strengthening your sovereignty.

Independence also means taking responsibility for your present & determining your future. Georgians overwhelmingly chose European future.
