According to Estonian Ambassador Riina Kaljurand, it would be ideal if all three countries - Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova - received at least candidate status with conditions. The Ambassador stated about it after meeting with Strategy Builder representatives in Parliament.

According Kaljurand, there are ceirtain problems in Georgia, but there are also problems in Moldova and Ukraine. As the Ambassador noted, she thinks that the decision to be taken in Brussels will take these circumstances into account, but the global geopolitical urgency and the security situation in the region should be also considered.

According to her, a very difficult process is underway in Brussels regarding the applications of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova, and it is too early to say in advance what the decision will be.

The Ambassador added that the Estonian government supports granting candidate status to all three countries - Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
