According to the public movement People's Power, the financing of NGOs should fall into strict legal framework, regarding which they plan to prepare a legislative proposal in the near future.

People's Power believes that "the current practice of financing NGOs from abroad creates a natural threat to the sovereignty of Georgia".

"Yesterday, a debate was held in the US Senate on the topic of Georgia, where senators distinguished by their friendship with the National Movement threatened us with the termination of American funding. We would like to remind the public that the largest part of the American funding is directed to NGOs, which means that this money is not used for our country, but for their own agenda. We think it is a matter of honor not to allow anyone to reproach us for funding their own agenda. Moreover, we believe that the current practice of financing NGOs from abroad creates a natural threat to the sovereignty of Georgia. Thus, no one should reproach us for the financing of NGOs, on the contrary, this financing should fall into strict legal framework, regarding which we will prepare our proposals, in accordance with the best Western practices, in the near future.

A state that is not governed according to the principles of democracy, popular sovereignty and separation of powers is not a full-fledged state. Unfortunately, in the modern world, these concepts have undergone a complete perversion. The clearest example of this is the United States of America, where everyone knows that the constitutionally most powerful person - the President of the United States - does not actually rule the state. In addition, no one on the face of the earth can say, instead of the President, who rules the most powerful state in the world. If America's founding fathers - Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton or Madison - would have seen the current American government, they would probably have suffered from severe depression. We will not talk much about the grossly flawed congressional elections, the results of which took more than a week to summarize.

The situation is similar in Europe, where the majority of states have essentially lost their sovereignty. In today's world, democracy means "agentocracy". According to a widely implemented model, government coalitions are formed in which the majority of parties represent agencies of foreign influence. In such conditions, the government coalition does not act in accordance with national interests, but, from beginning to end, is under the influence of external interests.

We had such a situation in Georgia in 2004-12, when the government was staffed by an agency managed from outside. All troubles - torture and rape of people, business racket, media monopolization, surrender of territories to Russia, etc. - it happened not only with the tacit support of the regime's foreign patrons, but directly at their dictation.

Since democracy in the dictionary of pseudo-liberals actually means agentocracy, any process that leads to the replacement of agentocracy with democracy or, conversely, that does not lead democracy to agentocracy, is considered a democratic setback.

That is why the foreign patrons of National Movement are talking about the two-year democratic setback. Exactly two years ago, something happened that they still can't get used to - Georgian Dream won the elections and didn't hand over power to the National Movement, that is, democracy was not replaced by agentocracy. The April 19 agreement did not bring about the restoration of the agentocracy. Accordingly, they will continue to talk about the so-called democratic backsliding, until they achieve the restoration of the agentocracy in Georgia.

Also, interestingly, according to the dictionary of pseudo-liberals, the word "independent" is synonymous with "externally controlled". For example, an independent court means an externally managed court, an independent media means an externally managed media, etc. According to this model, the courts should be managed by the parties they manage or the NGOs financed by them, and only those media that are managed by agents of foreign influence and serve to establish or strengthen the agentocracy in the state can be referred to as independent.

The leaders of Georgian Dream often talk about the fact that Georgia is ahead of Moldova in all parameters, and therefore, against the background of Moldova, it was an injustice not to grant Georgia candidate status. This is the truth, however, the main truth is not being told to the public in this case either. There is one crucial parameter, by which Moldova is "ahead" of Georgia - unlike Georgia, Moldova is an agentocracy, which is why it is fully forgiven for its membership in the CIS, military-political neutrality, non-adherence to Western sanctions, and unbridled corruption. Unlike the Moldovan agentocracy, the Georgian democracy is also troubling, and under these conditions, naturally, no one would grant sovereign Georgia the status of a candidate.

As we have mentioned many times, the subject of candidate status was invented for us in order to give status to Ukraine and Moldova, but not to Georgia, which was thought to be the main tool for the coup of the government and the establishment of an agentocracy in Georgia.

The continuation of all this is the unjust resolutions of the European Parliament, which have the sole purpose of weakening the democratic government and strengthening the agency.

The main authors of these resolutions are the representatives of the European agentocracy - Kubilius, Juknevičienė, von Cramon, Fotyga and others, who act from the beginning to the end under the dictates of their and National Movement patrons.

Considering all this, one can ask whether Georgia needs such a Europe, where only agentocracy is appreciated, and democracy is the main object of attack and aggression. We think we need it, but we need it with the values that Europe has traditionally been based on. Georgia should continue moving towards Europe and should contribute to the restoration of traditional values and the traditional model of governance in Europe. We dream of becoming a member of such a European family as it was created by Schumann, Monet, Adenauer, Churchill and other founding fathers of the European Union," the statement of People's Power reads.
