Rati Bregadze: Our and Mikheil Saakashvili’s wishes do not coincide. Our wish is for the prisoner Saakashvili to be healthy, while he wants to be as ill as possible

Our and Mikheil Saakashvili’s wishes do not coincide. Our wish is for the prisoner Saakashvili to be healthy, while he wants to be as ill as possible, said the Minister of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze.

As the Minister explained, Mikheil Saakashvili's goal is to leave the penitentiary institution by "artificially damaging" his health.

"If anyone has a question regarding Mikheil Saakashvili's health and rights situation, we always provide them with information. Everyone knows, the whole of Georgia and really, the whole world, who is interested in this issue, that he is in a private clinic. Does he need treatment? - The state is giving him the opportunity to do so, he is in the hospital under the constant supervision of doctors. But what is the main problem? - Our and Mikheil Saakashvili's wishes do not coincide. Our wish is for prisoner Saakashvili to be healthy, he has no wish for that. He wants him to be as ill as possible so that he can artificially damage his health condition and leave the penitentiary," Rati Bregadze said on Imedi.
