An international search has been announced for five Georgian mercenaries fighting in Ukraine, and three more Georgian citizens have been charged with similar charges, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation says.
"In the framework of the investigation into the facts of the participation of foreign mercenaries in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, the investigation announced an international search for five citizens of Georgia. They were previously indicted in absentia and were subject to preventive measures," the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said.
According to their claims, evidence was obtained about the participation of three more citizens of Georgia in the "Georgian National Legion" and similar charges were brought against them.
