An event dedicated to independence is taking place at Freedom Square. Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili is attending the event together with his family.

Members of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of the diplomatic corps, clergy are also present at the site.

Conscripts will take the oath today in Tbilisi and 10 other cities.

The main theme of today's event is "This day is ours".
