Today, "Georgian Dream" will hold a party congress. About 350 delegates will attend the congress. General political issues and issues related to preparation for the 2024 parliamentary elections will be discussed in the working mode.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of "Georgian Dream", according to the new charter of the party, 15 members will be elected to the political council instead of 20, and former chairman of the parliament Kakha Kuchava and former health minister Ekaterine Tikaradze will no longer be among them, however, according to Irakli Kobakhidze, they will remain members of the party.

In addition, according to the available information, the following composition of the Political Council will be presented to the congress for approval today - Irakli Gharibashvili, Kakha Kaladze, Shalva Papuashvili, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Dimitri Samkharadze, Tea Tsulukiani, Vakhtang Gomelauri, Tornike Rizhvadze, Giorgi Volski, Archil Talakvadze, Irakli Chikovani, Anri Okhanashvili, Nikoloz Samkharadze, Maka Bochorishvili, Mariam Kvrivishvili.

According to the party's charter, the political council includes the chairman of the party ex officio.
