Meeting on implementation of nine recommendations of European Union is starting in Parliament

In the Parliament, a meeting on the implementation of the nine recommendations of the European Union is starting, the main topic of which is the reform of justice.

Deputies of parliamentary political groups, the parliamentary secretary of the president, representatives of several non-governmental organizations included in the Civil Platform of the Eastern Partnership are participating in the meeting.

The meeting will be chaired by the Chairman of the Parliament.

As Anri Okhanashvili, the chairman of the legal affairs committee, said before the meeting, the ruling team expects to hear suggestions and ideas regarding the reform of the judicial system, which will be compatible with the rules existing in the EU member states.

"We are ready to come together and share ideas that are compatible with European standards and the approaches we want to implement. Our goal is integration into the European Union. European rules are a priority for us, which should also be aligned with the country's constitution. We will work with this approach", said Anri Okhanashvili.
