The employees of the Anti-Corruption Sgency of the State Security Service, as a result of the operative-search and investigative actions, arrested the employees of the Tsalenjikha town hall for taking a large amount of bribe.

According to the State Security Service, the investigation established that in exchange for auctioning the 1,550 sq/m plot of land located in Tsalenjikha municipality, the detainees demanded a bribe of 20,000 GEL from the citizen.

"The investigation is being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Sgency of the State Security Service in accordance with subsections "b" and "c" of the second part of Article 338 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of 7 to 11 years as a punishment," reads the information.
