The parliamentary opposition will not attend the plenary sessions of the current week due to a political boycott.

The Bureau of the Parliament, at today's session, took into account the appeal of several political groups and opposition MPs about the boycott. Due to political views, the "National Movement" faction, political groups: - "Lelo", "Citizens", "Reforms Group", "Eurooptimists", "Freedom", "For the National and Democratic State", as well as non-factional members of the parliament: Armaz Akhvlediani, Salome Samadashvili, Tamar Kordzaia, Grigol Vashadze, Tamar Charkviani, Davit Bakradze.

"Before the elections, they are asking for a mandate to work in an institution where they do not go - it is a little unclear how this fits into the logic," said the Chairman of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, at the Bureau session.
