I want to do charity work and open small gyms in Georgia - I will add this amount and fully use it for my charity - this is how the Georgian UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili responded to the decision of the Prime Minister of Georgia to transfer a million GEL to Merab Dvalishvili and Ilia Topuria.

Dvalishvili spoke about this at the press conference."I want to do charity work and open small halls in Georgia. These will be jiu-jitsu and wrestling gyms, where young people will be able to train. Now I saw, now it was announced that the state is giving me and Ilia a million, for which I thank you. I will add this amount and use it fully in my charity", said Merab Dvalishvili.

For information, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, made the following statement today: "We have made a decision to give a monetary reward of one million GEL to Merab Dvalishvili, as well as to Ilia Topuria, who brought Georgia the first title of UFC champion."
