The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, is starting consultations with the opposition parties regarding the composition of the "technical government" and the candidate for the position of Prime Minister.

For information, the opposition forces signed the "Georgian Charter" drawn up at the initiative of the President, by which the signatories of the Charter, along with a number of obligations, undertake to fulfill the "conditions written in the Charter before the end of the first spring session, and upon fulfillment, early parliamentary elections will be held in free and fair conditions. According to Salome Zurabishvili, the so-called technical government will be responsible for the implementation of this action plan.
"I want to start meetings with the parties on Monday, so that there is little time left before the elections and we can start negotiations regarding specific candidates. The parties will have the opportunity to submit ministerial candidacies. Politicians, so far, at this stage - no.
