On the occasion of the Day of the Sanctity of the Family and Respect for Parents, a procession began from the St. George Church in Kashveti to the Trinity Cathedral.
The procession is being attended by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Mikheil Kavelashvili and other representatives of the legislative and executive authorities.
The Patriarchate’s Chokhosnebi, who are holding flags dedicated to the sanctity of Georgia and the family, are also participating in the procession.
