Snowfall and snowstorm expected in Georgia on January 23-25

Weather forecast calls for snow from January 23 to January 25 throughout Georgia. Snowstorm and heavy fog is expected in the mountainous regions of the country, the National Environmental Agency said on January 22.

According to the agency, magnitude 4-5 storm is expected to hit the Black Sea coast.

"Heavy rainfall can trigger avalanches and landslide in the mountainous areas," the National Environmental Agency said.
