Nika Melia says Giorgi Gakharia avoided resigned to avoid responsibility

Nika Melia, chairman of the United National Movement, said that former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia resigned to avoid responsibility.

"I do not think Mr. Gakharia acted correctly?! Is it a right behavior when the Prime Minister avoids responsibility?" Melia said.

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia resigned on February 18. As Gakharia explained, he considered it unjust to arrest Nika Melia as there was a danger of political escalation. According to Gakharia, the reason for his resignation was that he could not reach an agreement with the team.
