Nika Melia: There are people in the opposition, who try to whitewash the Government, and they are more harmful

Everything is clear about the Government, but I think that the so-called representatives of the opposition, who whitewash the Government and want to erase the traces of their criminal actions, are more harmful and bring heavier consequences for the state, Nika Melia told reporters.

As Melia noted, he does not mean any party but specific politicians.

"There are people who pretend to be oppositionists, whitewash the Government and approve their foreign policy, saying that very effective and productive steps are being taken by the Government. Everything is clear about the Government, but I think the so-called representatives of the opposition, who whitewash the Government and want to erase the traces of criminal actions, are more harmful and bring heavier consequences for the state. I do not mean any party, I mean politicians.

The only solution to bring peace to this country is a change of Government, which is inevitable. Therefore, I personally do not have any expectations from this Government that it will take a step in the interests of the state or honor the heroes," Nika Melia said.

Asked if he meant Grigol Vashadze, Nika Melia replied: "I’ve already made a comment."

Grigol Vashadze recently spoke about the steps taken by the Government regarding Ukraine. "This Government has taken very right steps, which all patriotic authorities would take in Georgia," he said.
