The National Movement will continue to fight for the freedom of the country, for the freedom of President Saakashvili, for the freedom of Nika Gvaramia, for the freedom of Lazare, for the release of the arrested officers, the chairman of the Natio­nal Movement Levan Khabeishvili said at the briefing held at the party's office.

According to Khabeishvili, Strasbourg made a decision only regarding the immediate transfer of Mikheil Saakashvili to Warsaw. According to him, the Strasbourg court has not considered anything else at the moment.

"The Russian party is trying to introduce various types of information to the public in the way they want. Today, the Minister of Justice and the Speaker of the Parliament did this, exactly as Russian propaganda is used to. We must provide the public with the correct information, and this is as follows: Strasbourg made a decision only regarding the immediate transfer of President Saakashvili to Warsaw, the Strasbourg court has not considered anything else at this time. Moreover, it is significant that the Strasbourg court accepted the arguments of the lawyers and said that it would consider the matter on its merits. Strasbourg accepted the case and therefore, legally, this dispute will continue.

What the Russian party spreads, as if there was some kind of discussion about Saakashvili's health and treatment, is a lie and anyone can be convinced of this after seeing this decision, and obviously it cannot be hidden, it will not be hidden, and everyone will be able to verify this information.

The Minister of Justice emphasized that Strasbourg did not order Saakashvili’s transfer to another hospital. However, the defense had no such request. The request was related to the transfer of President Saakashvili to Warsaw”, said Khabeishvili.
