Polish doctors entered Vivamed clinic to visit Mikheil Saakashvili, the third president of Georgia.
"As you can see, our Polish colleagues are visiting. We always had the permit issued. The patient is also aware that the doctors are here. Mikheil Saakashvili's condition is stable, our colleagues will see him and then we will talk to you," said Zurab Chkhaidze, Clinical Director of Vivamed clinic, speaking to TV Pirveli.
For information, Mikheil Saakashvili and his family members demanded for several months that Polish doctors be allowed to visit the former president.
On July 4, the Minister of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze, said that the Ministry made an offer to include doctors of his choice in the process of treating Mikheil Saakashvili in November of last year, however, his family sent an official letter to the Ministry only 4 months later and the application was submitted incompletely.
