I do not rule out that we will see Salome Zurabishvili in one of the opposition parties - there are forces where Zurabishvili will gladly go and those forces will also gladly welcome her, Paata Manjgaladze, deputy of Strategy Builder, stated.
Manjgaladze believes that the situation will become more clear approximately three months before the elections.
"I expect that Salome Zurabishvili has a political interest, and it is very good, not bad. I expect her to be more actively involved in politics. The President has symbolic role, but her term expires, time passes, she has limitations, and I think she will make a decision to be more actively involved in politics, I don't rule out that we may see her in one of the opposition parties. There are forces where Salome Zurabishvili will gladly go and those forces will gladly welcome her. As for the issue of whether she is independent from Bidzina Ivanishvili - nothing is permanent in politics, and it is characteristic of politics that an ally becomes an enemy tomorrow. I do not rule out that she will confront Ivanishvili. In the end, a person is inclined to freedom, if they are not born a slave. Based on this principle, I do not rule out that she aspires to more freedom, independence, being more active in politics, especially when her term expires and sometimes they call her a "lame duck" and other terms. I assume, based on the steps she takes and how she talks, most likely, three months before the elections, the situation will become clear and the President will think about whether to enter politics again," Manjgaladze said.
When asked whether Strategy Builder is the party that will "welcome" Zurabishvili, Manjgaladze states that they have no plans in connection with Zurabishvili.
"Strategy Builder has no plans for Zurabishvili. We are together with the National Movement in the "Victory Coalition", which has a leader, and a chief of staff, are planning a strong campaign, and if Georgian Dream sets new traps for us, we will release new mice," Manjgaladze said.
