Customs officers prevented the importation of a large amount of undeclared gold. Information about this is distributed by the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

More specifically, a large amount of undeclared gold jewelry (total weight - 172.1 grams) was detected as a result of the physical examination of a foreign citizen by the customs officers at the customs checkpoint of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance.

According to the agency, the customs value of undeclared goods amounted to 16,699.51 GEL.

According to their reports, the case was handed over to the investigative service of the Ministry of Finance for further investigation.
