They say Kezerashvili, Saakashvili and Merabishvili are the fathers of democracy, while Ivanishvili, who is not in touch with politics, should be sanctioned - this is a classic example of political corruption, Irakli Kadagishvili, a member of the parliamentary majority, told journalists, thus responding to the European Parliament draft resolution related to Mikheil Saakashvili.
According to him, it can be seen that in many cases the corrupted policy prevails the analysis of the situation based on real facts.
"As it turned out, corruption is quite rooted in the European Parliament. How can there be a vendetta against Mikheil Saakashvili, when a person has been sentenced legally and is serving his sentence under the best conditions in every respect? The other side is that he has a policy of simulations in order to avoid punishment," said Kadagishvili.
The European Parliament will vote on the resolution related to the health condition of the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, on February 15. The relevant information is posted on the website of the European Parliament. 5 texts of the resolution have been submitted to the European Parliament, 2 of which talk about Bidzina Ivanishvili. One text is authored by the European People's Party and the other by the Group of European Conservatives and Reformists.
