Even Mikheil Saakashvili has not publicly and openly trampled on the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Georgia or the Constitution of Georgia, - Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili told reporters, thus answering the question regarding President Salome Zurabishvili's planned visit to the Czech Republic.

According to him, he does not yet know for sure about the departure of the President, however, if this turns out to be true, it will be a direct, gross and open violation not only of the Constitution, but also of the ruling of the Constitutional Court.

"I don't know if she has already left, I heard about it from the media, but if so, it would be, of course, a direct, gross and open violation, not only of the Constitution, but also of the ruling of the Constitutional Court. No president has done such a thing in the 30-year history of Georgia, not even Mikheil Saakashvili, who committed crimes. No president, not even Mikheil Saakashvili, has publicly and openly trampled the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Georgia or the Constitution of Georgia. In the sense that she knew that this was a violation and yet she openly violates the will of the Georgian people, it is a direct disrespect of the Georgian people, it is a trampling of the state system.

I have said before that my advice would be not to open this pandora's box of constitutional violations, because if she does open that box, she will lose the right to refer to the violation of the Constitution by others, and if she openly, intentionally and directly violates the Constitution, she can no longer complain about the violation of the Constitution by other constitutional bodies. So she is bringing the state structure of Georgia into this sad dead end.

It is a direct enmity towards the Georgian state when the representative of the constitutional body violates the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Georgia not accidentally, or ignorantly, but knowingly. This is a direct blow to the statehood of Georgia", said Shalva Papuashvili.
