Roman Gotsiridze: The European Union should see the people on the streets protesting the election fraud, after that it will be easy to make a decision - no big plan is needed

The first day of the parliament session is the most important - but if 100,000 people take to the streets, the government will not be able to hold the session - said opposition MP Roman Gotsiridze in the "360 degrees" program of "PalitraNews".

According to him, the European Union should see the people on the streets "protesting the fraud of the elections, after that it will be very easy to make a decision".

"Ultimately, if this government is declared illegitimate here in Georgia, it will become illegitimate abroad as well. Legitimation is decided by the people. During the "Rose Revolution", if he spoke to Eduard Shevardnadze for less than 5 minutes, he was left behind. I am not saying that we should storm the parliament, but if 100,000 people take to the streets, the government will not be able to hold a session. The opposition can not bring out 100,000 people, but 100,000 people supporting and organizing the opposition can come.

No one in the world has come up with a different plan, except when you go out on the street. The street should show a sincere position. You have to convince the government to make concessions. These concessions are: to start an international investigation regarding the elections.

If 100,000 or 60,000 people come out to the streets during the parliament session, they will strike a peaceful siege, no one will invade anywhere, there will be a picket, and the whole world's media will be here. The EU needs to see the people on the streets protesting the election fraud, then it will be very easy to make a decision. No big plan is needed", said Roman Gotsiridze.

When asked if the opposition has the resources to bring 100,000 people to the streets, Gotsiridze answers that only the action of the opposition is not enough, therefore society must also show readiness.

"What resources did the opposition have when 100,000 people came out during the "Russian Law"? Was it with the resources of the opposition? Therefore, the society must be ready. Only the action of the opposition is not enough if the voters did not want it. This will appear. The first day of the parliament session is the most important. The rest of what is happening on the street now, small actions, this is also necessary.

Of course, the role of the opposition is huge, because the opposition must organize everything, even transport and other means, so that people who want to come to Tbilisi are provided with something," said Roman Gotsiridze.
