Ana Natsvlishvili: We will be in the Unity Platform for Europe format proposed by the President, Lelo is ready to listen to everyone

According to Ana Natsvlishvili, one of the leaders of Lelo party, Lelo accepts all initiatives and all platforms where European reform and actions are discussed.

Natsvlishvili evaluated today's statement of President Salome Zurabishvili relating to the creation of the Unity Platform for Europe format on Palitranews TV.

According to her, since it is impossible to reach a consensus with Georgian Dream, of course such a format will be valuable for Lelo.

"We were in every format where we saw even a small chance to advance the European cause of Georgia, and we will be in this format as well. Of course, clarity, concreteness is needed. We think that during meetings we will hear more about the perspective of the President, how she sees it. Naturally, she could not talk about all this from the parliamentary tribune today, however, she has a desire to add more concreteness. We are open and have our vision regarding the implementation of 9 reforms. You know that Lelo presented a detailed plan. We are ready to listen to everyone's vision and we are also ready for consensus", Natsvlishvili said, adding that the government's current path will not be useful to the citizens of Georgia.

According to her, today the President had strong and very precise messages, first of all, for the citizens of Georgia.

"The President named the reasons why this country is developing in the wrong direction. In fact, she exposed the ugly system of power, which if not changed, no matter how many prime ministers are changed, the country will not change essentially for the citizens of Georgia and the situation will not change, when thousands of people are forced to leave their homeland in order to survive physically and economically. Most importantly, she named the very person at the center of this vicious, ugly system who is behind this all and who is responsible all these years for how the state institutions, the law, the constitution, etc. were gradually stolen. Until Russian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili stands at the center of power and his party rules the country, there will be no European future, the President said this directly," Natsvilishvili said.

According to her, during this time, the government has been busy only with moving closer to Russia and making anti-European statements.

President Salome Zurabishvili, during her annual report to the Parliament today, proposed to political parties and civil society to create a charter for the future - "Platform of Unity for Europe"!
