According to Macharashvili, "if such approaches from the US side towards the Georgian government continue, it will increase the gap between Georgia and the US".
"The decision of the US administration to suspend the police officers deepens the suspicion that the current US administration views Georgia as a vassal and not as a partner country. This is the reason for what Prime Minister Kobakhidze told the US ambassador. Such non-partner attitudes on the part of the USA are counterproductive and do not pour water in favor of the opposition - however, we all know very well that it is done for this purpose.
Before that, judges were sanctioned, now - policemen. This is done in order to somehow undermine the state institutions and then the opposition will develop revolutionary scenarios.
Georgian people take all this on the contrary - as an insult!
