Elene Khoshtaria: So, I have to demand the release of footage of my forced undressing? As if what happened wasn't enough, now the whole world has to watch it too? Well done, you've really thought this through

Understand this: I do not cooperate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the courts, the parliament, Razhden, any commissions, or any other illegitimate Russian entity—so stop scrambling, you won’t be able to do anything to me anyway.

This was written by Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change."

As Khoshtaria explained, she has been asked why she is not demanding the release of footage related to her detention.

“The ‘Kots’ didn’t find it enough to subject me to violence and degrading treatment in the police station. Now, they’ve unleashed propaganda channels on me, following me around and asking why I’m not demanding the release of the footage.

So I’m supposed to ask for the public release of footage showing my forced and violent undressing? As if what happened wasn’t enough, now the whole world should see it too? Well done, you’ve really thought this through.

1. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, in its own statement, essentially confirmed the incident and even tried to smear me further by fabricating some excuse involving medication to justify the undressing.

2. Understand this: I do not cooperate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the courts (I have not attended any hearings), the parliament, Razhden, any commissions, or any other illegitimate Russian entity.

3. Stop scrambling, you won’t be able to do anything to me anyway—and in the end, you will all be held accountable for every single incident and for violating the dignity of every person,” Khoshtaria wrote on Facebook.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
