"Resetting relations is fundamentally important because the attitude that existed over the years is categorically unacceptable — America should be our strategic partner, our friend, and not a ruler," said Kakha Kaladze, General Secretary of Georgian Dream, responding to the statement from the U.S. Embassy in Georgia.

Gela Geladze will replace Vakhtang Gomelauri as the Minister of Internal Affairs. Geladze was introduced in this new role by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a briefing held at the Government Administration.
